The Sport Heritage Review is operated by Dr. Gregory Ramshaw, Professor in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management at Clemson University. He explores the social construction and cultural production of heritage, with a particular interest in sport-based heritage. He is the author of Heritage and Sport: An Introduction (Channel View, 2020) and coeditor of Baseball and Cultural Heritage (University Press of Florida, 2022). His research has been published in numerous academic texts and journals, including the International Journal of Heritage Studies, Tourism Geographies, Current Issues in Tourism, and Tourism Review International, among many others. He is also the editor of Sport Heritage (2015) and is the co-editor of Heritage, Sport and Tourism: Sporting Pasts – Tourist Futures (2007) and Heritage and the Olympics: People, Place and Performance (2014), all published by Routledge. He also serves on the editorial boards of Event Management, The Journal of Heritage Tourism, and The Journal of Sport & Tourism. He completed his graduate work at the University of Alberta and the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
